Muzaffarpur roars with glory as its Wushu warriors emerge overall champions at the Khelo India State Wushu League 2025 in Patna. The two-day event turned into a celebration of skill, discipline, and determination, with Muzaffarpur players bagging medals across every category.
The championship was held from 17 to 18 August 2025 at SAI STC, Rajendranagar, Patna. Organized jointly by the Bihar Wushu Association and Patna Wushu Association, the league witnessed the participation of over 250 women athletes from different districts of Bihar.
The opening ceremony welcomed dignitaries like Veena Gupta (former District Governor, Lions Club Patna), Dr. Amulya Kumar Singh (President, Bihar Wushu Association), Dr. Sanjay Srivastava (Vice Chairman, Bihar Wushu Association), Someshwar Rao Chaman (SAI STC Centre Incharge), and other senior officials.
On the closing day, Muzaffarpur Wushu Association stood tall with 99 points, securing the first position. Buxar Wushu Association followed with 53 points, while Patna Wushu Association managed third place with 41 points. The victories ignited celebrations in Muzaffarpur as young champions received applause from across Bihar.
The highlight of the championship was the stellar performance of Muzaffarpur athletes across senior, junior, and sub-junior categories.

Junior Category – Gold Medalist: Krishna Kumari
Sanda Category:
Gold – Sakshi Kumari (U-75kg)
Silver – Niharika Kumari (U-60kg)
Bronze – Divya Kumari (U-45kg), Gauri Kumari (U-52kg), Anita Kumari (U-56kg)
Senior Category:
Gold – Vaishnavi Kumari
Silver – Pragya Parashar, Anokhi Kumari
Sub-Junior Category:
Gold – Anjali, Nandini, Sneha, Anamika, Deepika, Preeti
Silver – Khushi, Ananya, Sandhya, Sweety
Bronze – Archana, Shruti
Every medal reflected hard work, resilience, and the power of Bihar’s young girls breaking barriers in martial arts.
Leaders from Bihar Wushu Association and Muzaffarpur Wushu Association congratulated the players. The event not only crowned Muzaffarpur as the state champion but also inspired countless young girls to take up sports fearlessly.
