Ankit Sinha secured a silver medal in the sub-junior kata event by defeating a strong contender from Bhutan in the semi-finals. Meanwhile, Akash Raja earned a bronze medal in the cadet kata event after overcoming a fierce competitor from Nepal in the quarter-finals. Nitin Kumar added to India’s tally by claiming a bronze medal in the youth -68 kg kumite fight, defeating a player from Bangladesh.
