Bihar to Host a Youth Sports Extravaganza This May

From May 4 to May 15, Bihar will become the center of India’s youth sports movement as it hosts the 7th edition of the Khelo India Youth Games across five cities. Importantly, he explained the government’s intent to develop permanent venues for select games. This, he said, would provide athletes, coaches, and organisers with better planning and preparation windows.

“India’s sports talent is massive. We only need a system that converts potential into performance,” Mandaviya said confidently.

As a result, a long-term calendar is being developed, giving India’s sports ecosystem a much-needed structure.
