West Champaran’s pride, Anshu Kumari, has scripted history by securing 98% marks in the Bihar Board 10th Exam. The daughter of a hardworking farmer, she now sets her sights on cracking NEET to become a doctor. Her unwavering determination and family’s support have fueled her success.

“I am overwhelmed with joy! Becoming a doctor has been my dream, and now I am one step closer to it. My elder sister has been my guiding force, and my parents never let financial constraints hinder my studies,” shared Anshu.

Bihar Board 10th Exam Results: A Look at the Toppers

Anshu isn’t the only shining star. Alongside her, Sakshi Kumari from Samastipur and Ranjan Verma from Bhojpur also aced the exams, scoring 97.80% each. Moreover, Sakshi, the daughter of a carpenter, aspires to make a mark in the professional world.

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) announced an overall pass percentage of 82.11%. Out of 15,58,077 students, a staggering 4,52,302 secured first division, while 5,24,965 got second division, and 3,80,732 passed with third division.

Big Rewards for Big Achievers

To further encourage students, BSEB Chairman Anand Kishor has introduced double prize money for toppers:

  • 1st Rank: ₹2 lakh
  • 2nd Rank: ₹1.5 lakh
  • 3rd Rank: ₹1 lakh
  • 4th-10th Rank: ₹20,000 each

Additionally, all toppers will receive a laptop, certificate, and medal to recognize their outstanding performance.

CM Nitish Kumar Applauds Bihar’s Young Achievers

Bihar’s Chief Minister Nitish Kumar personally congratulated the toppers, emphasizing the growing confidence of girls in academics. “Girls are making great strides in every field. Their success is inspiring and reflects Bihar’s progressive educational reforms.” Furthermore, he also lauded the Education Department and BSEB for timely results, ensuring students get ample time for further enrollment.
