In a game-changing move, the government has approved a ₹223 crore plan to build hostels for women in 10 major industrial zones. 10 Industrial Areas to Get Women’s Hostels

The Bihar government’s initiative will develop 10 industrial areas with modern hostels, each with a capacity of 200 seats. These hostels will ensure safety, convenience, and world-class amenities for working women.

  • Fatuha, Patna
  • Sikandarpur, Bihta, Patna
  • Textile Cluster, Muzaffarpur
  • Nawanagar, Buxar
  • Industrial Growth Center, Aurangabad
  • Hajipur Industrial Area
  • Kumarbagh, West Champaran
  • Sakri, Madhubani
  • Industrial Growth Center, Begusarai
  • Industrial Growth Center, Maranga, Purnia

State-of-the-Art Infrastructure for Maximum Comfort

These hostels will stand as G+4 (five-storey) buildings, offering modern facilities, secure environments, and a comfortable stay for working women. The Bihar Industrial Area Development Authority (BIADA) will oversee the project, ensuring high-quality construction and timely completion.

Each hostel will require an estimated ₹22.30 crore, leading to a total investment of ₹223 crore. Equipped with advanced security features, these accommodations will redefine living standards for women in Bihar’s industrial workforce.
