Muzaffarpur’s 13-year-old karate sensation, Anushka Abhishek, has secured her spot in the Indian team for the Karate World Cup 2025, set to take place in Moscow, Russia, from April 4 to April 8, 2025. Competing in the Under-14 Kumite Fight (45kg category), Anushka is all set to showcase her skills on the global stage!
Anushka is Bihar’s first-ever karateka to compete in the Karate World Cup, making her selection a monumental achievement for the state’s sports community. The news has sparked excitement among karate enthusiasts, coaches, and fellow athletes. Her parents, Annu Abhishek and Preeti Kumari, along with her trainers and supporters, are overwhelmed with joy.
Anushka has been training rigorously for the past four years at RAS World Martial Arts Academy, under the expert guidance of Sensei Suraj Pandit. Her commitment, discipline, and relentless spirit have propelled her to this level. She has fought through intense competition to earn this golden opportunity.
