The 27th All India Postal Carrom Tournament in Tirupati witnessed an incredible performance by Bihar’s daughters. Competing under the Maharashtra Postal Circle team, Neha Kumari, Nisha Kumari, and Rinki Kumari secured the championship title. Their victory brought immense pride to Bihar.
The Maharashtra team, including Neha, Nisha, Rinki, and Neelam Godke, clinched the top position. The final match against West Bengal was intense, but the Bihar-born players dominated, securing the win. The champions received certificates and medals for their achievement.
Currently, Neha, Nisha, and Rinki work as Postal Assistants in Mumbai’s Postal Department. Their success in carrom paved the way for their professional careers. This victory adds another milestone to their already impressive track record in national and international carrom championships.
Neha and Nisha are daughters of Shyam Kishore Prasad, while Rinki is the daughter of late Shambhu Prasad. They hail from Chanpatia, West Champaran, and have consistently excelled in the sport. Their achievements have sparked celebrations across their hometown.

Prominent personalities, including MLA Umakant Singh, Municipal Councillor Rajni Devi, Vice Councillor Sunil Kumar, and Police Officer Samrat Singh, have extended their heartfelt congratulations.
