What is the Bihar Small Entrepreneur Scheme (BLUY)?

The Bihar Small Entrepreneur Scheme aims to provide financial aid to economically weaker sections of society, enabling them to become self-reliant. • Upon verification of the first phase, ₹1,00,000 is provided.
• Lastly, ₹50,000 is released after the second installment is utilized.

• The applicant must be a permanent resident of Bihar.
• The age requirement is 18 to 50 years.
• Monthly family income should be below ₹6,000.
• No other family member should be a beneficiary of BLUY or Mukhyamantri Udyami Yojana.

✅ Transparent Selection: The entire process is computerized and randomized, ensuring fairness.

✅ Pre-Approved Business Options: Choose from 61 pre-determined business models.

🏆 Last Year’s Success Story

In the last financial year (2023-24), 40,099 entrepreneurs received their first installment, totaling ₹200.49 crore. Here’s how funds were distributed:

• SC Beneficiaries: 10,337
• ST Beneficiaries: 518
• BC Beneficiaries: 10,305
• EBC Beneficiaries: 14,690
• General Category: 4,250

Additionally, 11,418 applicants received their second installment, amounting to ₹114.18 crore.
