Bihar is set to create history by hosting the Asia Rugby Under-20 Championship 2025 in Rajgir. The tournament will mark the first-ever international rugby event in the state, turning Rajgir into a hub of energy, culture, and sporting excellence.

Nine Nations Compete in Rajgir

The championship will witness nine international teams battling for glory:

• India, China, UAE, Hong Kong, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, and Nepal.

Teams will arrive in Rajgir by August 7, followed by a grand opening ceremony on August 8 at the Kabaddi Hall of Rajgir Sports Complex. The matches will take place on August 9-10, offering two days of high-speed rugby action.

Moreover, all players will stay in Rajgir, allowing them to experience Bihar’s cultural heritage while competing at the highest level.
