Bihar STET 2025 : All You Need to Know

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) will release the STET 2025 admit card on October 11, 2025. Candidates registered for the Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test can download it from the official portal bsebstet.org. Make sure you have your user ID and password ready.

Exam Schedule & Admit Card Importance

The STET 2025 will be conducted through Computer Based Test (CBT) starting 14 अक्टूबर 2025. The admit card is crucial, as it contains:

• Exam date & time

• Exam venue

• Candidate details

The BSEB has emphasized downloading and printing the admit card well in advance. Reporting to the examination centre on time is mandatory for smooth conduct.

Bihar STET 2025 Exam Structure

The STET exam has two papers:

Paper 1 (Secondary Level):
Subjects include Hindi, Social Science, Sanskrit, Urdu, Bengali, Maithili, Arabic, Persian, Bhojpuri, English, Mathematics, Science, Physical Education, Music, Fine Arts, and Dance.

Paper 2 (Higher Secondary Level):
Subjects cover Hindi, Urdu, English, Sanskrit, Magahi, Arabic, Persian, Bengali, Maithili, Bhojpuri, Pali, Prakrit, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography, Political Science, Sociology, Economics, Philosophy, Psychology, Home Science, Commerce, Computer Science, Agriculture, and Music.

Each paper has 150 questions: 100 are subject-specific, and 50 test teaching aptitude. Duration is 2.5 hours, each question carries 1 mark, with no negative marking.

The syllabus follows graduation-level standards for Paper 1 and honours-level graduation for Paper 2.

Passing Marks & Reservation Criteria

Passing criteria vary by category:

• General: 50%

• Backward Classes: 45.5%

• Extremely Backward Classes: 42.5%

• SC/ST/Disabled/Women: 40%

Candidates must meet the required score to qualify and appear for further recruitment stages.

3. Enter your user ID and password.

4. Submit to access your admit card.
