In a remarkable move, 13 intermediate colleges in Madhubani received a total grant of ₹3.92 crore from the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB). This financial aid covers the 2016-18 period and directly benefits staff while improving college facilities.
DEO Akshay Kumar Pandey personally guided the fund distribution, while DPO Kundan Kumar ensured transparency and accountability. The colleges will share the grant among employees who served during 2016-18.
The colleges receiving the maximum support of ₹50 lakh each include:
Pandit Dukhamochan Chaudhary Inter College, Chanpura
Hardev Banaras Janata College, Khajauli
Shaheed Parmeshwar Lohia Charan Mahant Ramkrishna College, Phulparas
Nunu Babu Kripanath Pathak Inter College, Khopa
Meanwhile, Parvati Laxmi Women’s Inter College, Jhanjharpur, received ₹17.24 lakh. These funds will directly improve staff welfare and enhance college resources.
The DEO instructed all colleges to complete fund distribution within a week. Additionally, colleges must submit utilization certificates to the sub-office promptly. Officials sent copies of the order to all colleges to ensure proper and timely use of funds.
This grant strengthens Madhubani’s intermediate colleges. Employees who served during 2016-18 receive their deserved recognition. Moreover, colleges can now improve infrastructure, resources, and staff training, benefiting students across the district. Consequently, the quality of education is set to rise steadily.
