बदलता बिहार: Hilsa और Darbhanga में ₹60 Crore की नई सड़क योजनाएं 🚧

Bihar is not just building roads, it’s paving pathways to dreams. With two major road projects worth over ₹60 crore, Hilsa and Darbhanga are set to experience smoother travel, stronger connectivity, and fresh opportunities.

Hilsa to Get a Brand-New Bypass

The government approved the construction of a bypass road in Hilsa subdivision of Nalanda district. The Panpanwa–Chhidri–Bejapatti bypass will stretch over 3.93 km.

Deputy CM Samrat Choudhary announced that this project will cost nearly ₹29.83 crore under the Saat Nischay-2 connectivity scheme.

Importantly, the plan targets 70% completion in 2025-26 with an investment of about ₹20.88 crore. The rest will finish in 2026-27 with ₹8.95 crore.

This bypass won’t just ease travel. It will also generate jobs, boost tourism, and unlock local economic growth.

Darbhanga to Witness Road Widening and Strengthening

Alongside Hilsa, Darbhanga gets its own upgrade. The Doghara to SH-52 Hardia road (via Basant and Chandauna) will be widened and strengthened.

This project comes with an investment of ₹29.92 crore. Out of this, ₹22.44 crore will come from the State Highway fund, while ₹7.48 crore will come from a special plan fund.

The work will happen in two stages. 50% will finish by 2025-26, while the remaining will be done in 2026-27.

For Darbhanga residents, this means faster travel, safer roads, and better regional connectivity.

Bihar’s Roadmap of Change

Deputy CM Samrat Choudhary stressed that Bihar’s image has transformed. Once known for broken roads, the state now boasts four-lane highways, expressways, flyovers, and mega bridges.

He also underlined that since 2005, Bihar has seen a massive expansion in its road network. These projects in Hilsa and Darbhanga add another chapter to that journey of growth.
