Bihar Introduces ₹1,000/Month Support for Unemployed Graduates – A Step Toward Skill & Career Growth

Financial Support for Bihar’s Graduates

Bihar is taking a major step to support its youth. Under the Mukhyamantri Nishchay Swayam Sahayta Bhatta Yojana, unemployed graduates will now receive ₹1,000 per month for up to two years. Previously, this allowance was only available to intermediate-pass youth.

This initiative aims to empower graduates to enhance their skills and prepare for competitive exams, turning ambition into opportunity.

Who Can Benefit

  • Graduates in Arts, Science, or Commerce aged 20-25 years.

  • Youth who are not currently studying, are unemployed, or do not have self-employment.

  • Support will be provided for two years, helping young professionals focus on skill development and career preparation.

Making the Most of the Allowance

This financial support is designed to do more than just provide money. Youth can:

  • Enroll in training programs to boost employability.

  • Prepare for competitive examinations.

  • Invest in personal development to secure sustainable careers.

With this structured assistance, graduates can create a solid foundation for their professional journey.

Building Skills for the Future

The program emphasizes skill-building. By pairing financial aid with training and upskilling, Bihar’s youth can access a range of opportunities. This approach ensures graduates are prepared, capable, and job-ready.

Furthermore, it encourages self-reliance. Graduates can use the allowance to strategically plan their careers rather than rely solely on immediate employment.

Transforming Opportunities into Impact

Ultimately, this scheme highlights the importance of investing in youth potential. Graduates gain time, resources, and guidance to develop skills that meet market needs. It’s not just support—it’s a pathway to growth.

The goal is clear: to create a skilled, self-reliant, and employment-ready generation contributing to both local and national development.
