In a significant stride towards agricultural upliftment, 42 farmers in Rajouli block gathered this week at the e-Kisan Bhavan, where they received high-yield maize and paddy seeds at subsidized rates. Subsidy That Makes a Real Difference

Farmers in Sirdaula, Narhat, Akbarpur, and Govindpur blocks are already benefiting from the scheme. Here’s how:

• Maize Seeds (8 kg packet): ₹1055

• Paddy Seeds (3 kg): Just ₹10 per kg

• Subsidy Rate: 50%

For small and medium-scale farmers, this isn’t just support—it’s a game-changer. With a drastic cut in input costs, profits are likely to increase, making farming more sustainable and rewarding.

Backed by the Agriculture Department

This impactful initiative is not a one-time affair. Dhyananjay Kumar, the in-charge Agriculture Officer, shared that every year, seed distribution is planned as per crop season and regional requirements. The vision? To empower more farmers, boost local produce, and reduce reliance on unpredictable market prices.

To ensure last-mile delivery, Sariyo Enterprises has been assigned the seed supply chain—a strategic step to eliminate logistical hurdles.

At the seed distribution site, the atmosphere was electric. Farmers who received the packets spoke with optimism. “Finally, we are not just farming—we are planning for progress,” one of them said.
