Record-Breaking Tourist Footfall

In 2024, Rajgir welcomed:
2,452,766 Indian tourists
102,042 foreign tourists

December saw the highest footfall, with nearly 400,000 Indian and 18,000 foreign tourists. The month of November recorded the highest number of foreign visitors at 19,045. These numbers prove that Rajgir is now a must-visit destination in India.

New Attractions Boosting Tourism

The eight-seater ropeway to Vishwa Shanti Stupa has transformed the tourist experience. In 2024:
🚠 Over 7 lakh people rode the ropeway
💰 ₹8 crore revenue generated

The eco-friendly Ghoda Katora also saw over 3 lakh visitors, bringing in ₹25 lakh in earnings. With family-friendly closed cabins, the new ropeway is a favorite among children and seniors.
