But two brothers, Abhishek Kunal and Manoj, have shattered stereotypes and emerged as symbols of grit and determination. Their story isn’t just inspiring; it’s proof that no dream is too big when fueled by resilience.
Born into a family with limited resources, the brothers grew up in Laher village, part of Amnour block in Saran district. Their father worked in a private steel factory, and their mother, Fuljhadi Devi, took up stitching clothes to support the family. Despite financial constraints, their parents were unwavering in their dream of providing quality education to their children.
Their grandfather, Late Ram Sagar Rai, had always envisioned his grandsons bringing pride to the village. Inspired by their family’s sacrifices, Abhishek and Manoj focused on their studies and aimed to serve the nation by joining the Indian Army.
Life wasn’t easy for the Yadav family. Financial struggles were compounded by societal taunts. Villagers mocked their aspirations, doubting the boys’ potential to achieve anything significant. But their father stood firm, constantly encouraging his sons to dream big and persevere.
Abhishek Kunal, now a lieutenant, recalls failing twice in the NDA entrance exam. Despite these setbacks, he remained determined. His breakthrough came in 2012 when he was selected for the Army Medical Corps. Manoj, following his brother’s footsteps, also worked tirelessly to achieve his dream. Today, both brothers proudly serve as Army officers, a testament to their hard work and dedication.
Behind their success lies the relentless effort of their mother, Fuljhadi Devi. She mastered stitching to ensure her children could afford books, tuition, and other educational needs. Her sacrifices became the cornerstone of their achievements, proving the power of a mother’s love and determination.
Abhishek and Manoj’s journey is more than a personal victory—it’s an inspiration for countless families in Bihar and beyond. Their story underscores that even in the face of adversity, perseverance, and family support can lead to extraordinary success.
