But there’s a catch. Institutions must utilise funds within a month and submit a utilisation certificate. Delays beyond three months? The unspent money goes back to the treasury.
This tight deadline ensures the funds serve their true purpose: timely financial support to those who’ve dedicated their lives to education.
Speaking on the development, Samrat Chaudhary called it a step forward for employee welfare and institutional stability.
“The government is equally focused on strengthening higher education infrastructure and safeguarding the interests of employees.”

Authorities have instructed the university to spend the funds immediately and ensure proper documentation. This focused allocation shows that Bihar is finally acknowledging the long-pending gaps in employee welfare.
