UPSC Prelims in Patna Tomorrow: 44,063 Aspirants, 91 Centers, and a Tight Security Net!

Bihar Prepares to Witness One of Its Most Awaited Competitive Events

The air in Patna is tense, yet filled with hope. On Sunday, the UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Examination will take over the city. With 44,063 candidates appearing at 91 centers, this event is more than just an exam—it’s a collective step toward change.

Patna Steps Up with Massive Administrative Mobilization

For a state known for its intellectual zeal, Bihar is going all out. The UPSC exam will unfold in two sessions, and Patna has been transformed into a well-guarded zone.

To ensure fairness, the district administration has issued clear directives. Notably:

  • 30 general magistrates are deployed

  • 18 reserve magistrates are on standby

  • Police officers and security personnel will remain stationed at all venues

Furthermore, authorities met at Krishna Memorial Hall to finalize coordination. Each official was briefed about their responsibilities in detail.

Strict Guidelines to Prevent Any Unfair Practices

In an effort to maintain full integrity, authorities have issued a complete ban on communication gadgets. This includes:

  • Mobile phones

  • Smartwatches

  • Bluetooth devices

  • Digital watches and other electronic tools

Divisional Commissioner Mayank Barbadekar stressed during the briefing:

“Our priority is to conduct a fair, peaceful, and cheat-free examination.”

Additionally, every deployed officer must report two hours before the exam begins. These preventive steps reflect the seriousness of the process.

Bihar’s Aspirants Carry Big Dreams

Bihar has always produced top-tier civil servants. This year, too, thousands of students have dedicated months, even years, to crack the UPSC code. While their determination is fierce, the stakes are even higher.

Interestingly, many of these aspirants come from humble backgrounds, yet carry aspirations that stretch across the nation. This blend of struggle and hope is what makes Bihar’s UPSC story so inspiring.

Why This Matters: More Than an Exam

The UPSC prelims aren’t just a test. In Bihar, they symbolize mobility, merit, and meaning. As students walk into these centers, they’re walking with the support of families, mentors, and entire communities.

This Sunday, Patna won’t just be a city—it will be the epicenter of ambition.
