Imagine walking into a school where the walls speak. Not in words, but in powerful visuals and catchy slogans that teach every student how to be safe on the road. That’s exactly what the Bihar Government is now rolling out—a colorful and creative movement to turn every school wall into a canvas of safety and awareness.
In a bold move by the Bihar Transport Department, the upcoming campaign will feature impactful road safety slogans and artwork painted on the boundary walls of schools. These aren’t just decorative elements—they’re educational tools, crafted to ensure children grasp essential safety practices early in life.
Through these wall paintings, students will learn:
The importance of wearing helmets and seat belts
Why overspeeding is dangerous
The risks of using mobile phones while walking or driving
The rights of pedestrians
How small decisions can prevent big tragedies
By engaging the Education Department, the Bihar Road Safety Council is set to ensure this initiative doesn’t remain just an idea but becomes an executed mission.
This initiative took shape after a key decision during a recent meeting chaired by the Development Commissioner and led by the Bihar Road Safety Council. Following this, a formal request was sent to the Information and Public Relations Department, asking for standard painting and slogan-writing rates to implement the project uniformly across schools.
Children learn faster when they’re visually engaged—and Bihar knows that. This initiative isn’t just about painting walls, it’s about painting values onto young minds.
Simple, inspiring slogans like:
“Helmet pehno, zindagi chuno”
“Road safety is self-respect”
“Don’t text and walk—arrive alive”
“Speed thrills but kills”
These messages are easy to understand and impossible to ignore, especially when they’re part of a child’s daily school experience.
To keep the momentum strong, a special monitoring committee will be established. Their goal? Timely execution and quality checks. More importantly, this campaign is a call for community involvement—students, teachers, and even parents can play a role in maintaining and spreading these messages.
Bihar is not just talking about road safety—it’s showing it, painting it, and living it through its schools.
