A game-changer is coming to Bhagalpur. A brand-new ₹32.34 crore RCC two-lane bridge will soon rise over the famous Badua River, connecting Sultanganj to Dumma on the Kachhi Kanwariya Path. This infrastructure project will not only enhance connectivity but also make travel smoother for thousands, especially for Kanwariyas.
Eight major construction firms have submitted their bids for this ambitious project. The evaluation phase has successfully cleared all contenders, and by next month, officials will select the winning agency. The project aims to kick off construction by May-June 2025 and reach completion by 2026.

The Bihar State Bridge Construction Corporation (Bhagalpur Division) has set March 24 as the last date for objections regarding the tender process. After this, a final review meeting will take place. If authorities find discrepancies in any agency’s documents, they will disqualify them.
Once they determine the lowest bidder, they will issue the work order, and construction will begin without further delay.
