IIT Patna and Amity University Patna have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate under the Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Program (MMTTP) sponsored by the University Grants Commission (UGC). This partnership promises to empower teachers with advanced skills, research opportunities, and innovative training aligned with National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
The MoU was signed by Prof. T. N. Singh, Director of IIT Patna, and Prof. (Dr.) Vivekanand Pandey, Vice Chancellor of Amity University Patna. The event gathered senior faculty members, officials, and the Program Director of MMTTC at IIT Patna, reflecting a strong commitment to improving teacher quality and higher education in Bihar.
According to Prof. T. N. Singh, this collaboration will integrate research and innovation into teacher training programs. He emphasized that the initiative will not only benefit educators in Bihar but also create ripple effects across India.
