Bihar has announced a major step forward with the launch of the Bihar Industrial Investment Promotion Package 2025 (BIPPP-2025). This initiative follows the BIADA Amnesty Policy 2025 and aims to give industries a big boost while creating massive employment opportunities across the state.
The package offers a mix of financial incentives and long-term support for new industrial units:
Interest Subsidy: Up to ₹40 crore will be provided to reduce borrowing costs.
SGST Reimbursement: 300% reimbursement on net SGST for 14 years.
Capital Subsidy: Up to 30% subsidy on capital investment.
Export Incentives: ₹40 lakh annually for 14 years.
In addition, the policy also supports skill development, renewable energy adoption, environmental protection, private industrial parks, patent registration, and quality certification. Even stamp duty and land conversion fees will be reimbursed to reduce the entry barrier for entrepreneurs.
One of the most striking features of BIPPP-2025 is free land allocation for large projects:
Units investing more than ₹100 crore and creating 1,000+ direct jobs will receive up to 10 acres free.
Units investing over ₹1,000 crore will get up to 25 acres free.
Even Fortune 500 companies are eligible for 10 acres free land.
This bold step positions Bihar as an attractive investment hub for both domestic and global corporations.
