Bihar Launches Revenue Maha Abhiyan | Door-to-Door Land Record Verification & Instant Correction

Taking Governance to People’s Doorsteps

Picture this: officers knocking at your door, checking your land papers, and fixing errors right away. Bihar has rolled out a month-long Revenue Maha Abhiyan to make this possible. Running until September 20, the campaign brings mutation, partition, and succession services directly to households.

Teams will verify land documents, digitize missing entries, and hand over printed jamabandi copies. For thousands of families, this reduces trips to government offices and saves time. Moreover, it promises quick, transparent, and reliable land record updates.

Tech-Enabled Camps Speed Up the Process

Alongside door-to-door visits, the state is setting up block and district-level camps. Each camp will feature 10 tables, laptops, internet dongles, and 10 specially trained survey Amins.

Officers will process mutation and partition applications on the Mutation Plus portal. They will record corrections on the Parimarjan Plus portal. As a result, the process becomes faster, more transparent, and tech-driven.

Residents must prepare essential documents before the officer visits. This will prevent delays and speed up verification. The required documents include:
